How many bad decisions do we need to make?!

Again and again, you bang your head on the wall because of a bad decision.

A decision you knew from the beginning was going to be bad. But you just have to try.

Just to be sure it’s as bad as it really looks.

They are irresistible.

Like a magnet drawing you into it.

It’s ok.

Each time you seriously bang your head, I’m sure you seriously learn something.

And hopefully, bad decisions will be something you’ll learn to stay away from… or maybe not!… 😐🤷🏻‍♀️

Here’s the thing about Tinder and other dating apps…

Guys seem to think that meeting a girl on Tinder is equivalent to getting lucky.

The fact the girl is on Tinder, doesn’t make a merry go round out of her.

Likewise, on the female side, the ruling mindset is that any guy on Tinder is completely worthless from almost every point of view.

This opinion is created upon experience rather than hear say.

Here’s what troubles me: guys say girls on Tinder are fake and don’t know what they want in life. They say they’re  looking for a “real girl”!

Girls say guys on Tinder are all fake douchebags and don’t know what they want in life… they’re looking for a “real guy”.

So how come everyone is on Tinder and everyone is a fake?

Are these not real people with a real life out there?

Don’t they have real families and friends?

Where does this gap come from?

How come everyone is there, everyone critiques it but apparently everyone is also looking for the same… but they end up doing the opposite.

Does it become an addiction?

Are these really today’s Men and Women?

The “object” stereotype.

Let’s camouflage who we are and guess who we need to become to please a complete stranger, hoping he will see something in you.

How do we get that low?

Both guys and girls complain of the same flaws but are supposedly looking for (fast) love?!

So why is everyone alone?

It seems a global phenomenon where both the body and mind are toys to play with.

Where ego and hunting skills are at their best.

Please, value yourself.

You’re better than that.

If you were a lucky one who actually found real Love on Tinder, amazing, I’m truly happy for you! 💙

I wish it would work for more people (including myself! 🤗😁)!

But… if it brings you nothing good… why do you push for it?

I quit a long time ago because it was turning me into someone whom I didn’t want to be.

I drew the line where enough was enough.

And I’m much happier ever since.

I hope everyone has that 1%!!

The daredevil one, your most well kept secret…

That secret smile, the secret thoughts and ideas, the imagination you keep to yourself until you feel confident enough with someone to put it into practice!

Let’s face it…

That 1%…

… is everything!!

That “Oh… this is a surprise!” moment!

It is character, it’s uniqueness, it’s defining!

But be careful…

If you tell the world about that 1%…

It’s no longer exclusive, right? 😉

Oh SO TRUE!!

A girl believes the power of Love will be enough to change your beloved but “inadequate” other half…

You think you accept him as he is and he just needs time to understand what YOU really value…

You think he will change over time because what you two have is so strong that it keeps you together although you broke up ten times… so if you’re still together, it needs to be significant right?!

A woman will tell you WRONG!

A woman will tell you… girl… you tried, you gave it your best, your all and even yourself by becoming smaller than you really are to accommodate his issues.

It’s time to grow and part of growing is moving on.

It’s understanding these works are no longer in progress.

They are done. Mostly with no change.

So please do change your direction… to someone, something else.

A woman will be heart broken by her decision but will move from where she’s not herself anymore and especially, where she’s not wanted anymore.

A girl will be waiting, avoiding the raw painful truth.

A woman will know how painful it will be, but will not wait because she knows how it will end.

No begging.

No asking.

No hesitating.

You just move.

Here’s to the women who go for it.

To the ones who follow that voice and don’t quit.

To the ones who overcome the pain, illusions and occasionally drown in self pity but understand their biggest gift is the gift of Life so they are not allowed to stay in that dark hole for too long.

They do break, they hide, they cry, they feel hopeless, scared, confused but they are still standing.

Standing with a smile.

Because at the end of the day, you’re perfect. You’re healthy.

You’ve got a working brain, two arms, two hands, two legs and feet.

You are a perfect feeling and living machine. So be thankful for that and make the best use of it.

Here’s to the ones who live in difficulty and still Love and provide to their kids with so much sacrifice.

Here’s to our Mothers who showed us how important it was to be strong!

Here’s to the ones who live somewhere where Human Rights haven’t provided for them yet. They can’t do what we take for granted and as a given right.

Here’s to the ones who made History and turned Women from an unacknowledged existence to a leading force of Society nowadays.

Without them, we would not be as free, strong and independent as we are.

Use the strength you were taught and built to use.

So just keep on rolling! And why?

Because you can!
