Handling the Fire

I’m not in love.

I wish I was, but I’m not…

When you read this, you focus on the first part… “she finally fell in love”…

I focused on the second part… “with somebody who could handle her fire” and therefore the first part became irrelevant.

I suppose our brain selects first what it relates to our mind frames needs or immediate expectations.

More than falling in love, I need someone who sees what’s not visible.

What’s not foreseeable.

What’s not obvious and seems actually pretty unlikely by just looking at my face/body and by talking about the weather, the diet you’re on or your workout scheme.

Feed me with what you’re passionate about.

Your hopes and dreams, what makes your skin get the goosebumps, what keeps you awake at night, your fears.

I know it’s not easy giving your thoughts away and I know not everyone values it as a relevant matter.

But it’s important sharing what makes you tick, especially if it’s someone whom you’re looking to connect with.

Your vulnerable side makes you Human, makes you accessible, makes you interesting.

I agree it’s not for everyone to know at all times. But some people do deserve to know You.

And then maybe, just maybe, you’ll ignite something different.

Something you can’t see until you feel it. 🎀✨💙⚡️💥🔥

The idea behind this page is to share my opinion and experience in what seems to be a crazy world nowadays. I look at myself, my friends and acquaintances and hear so many different, yet similar stories… of our search for Love, disappointments, insights. I wanted to share them! Considering cultural differences some adjustments had to be made. Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it!
