Quick Note on Honesty

What to say about Honesty?

I guess this says it all… the highest form of intimacy.

It’s a form of respect, appreciation, willingness, and ultimately intimacy.

When you expose yourself to the point in which you reveal your thoughts, your way of thinking to another person.

When you trust them enough to tell them everything and anything.

When you trust you’ll be understood.

Sometimes you are. Sometimes you are not.

But at least you were honest. You shared your truth.

You’ve done your part. The rest is up to the other.

It’s a risk and it might be painful.

But rather dealing with real consequences than the illusion of untold truths.

The idea behind this page is to share my opinion and experience in what seems to be a crazy world nowadays. I look at myself, my friends and acquaintances and hear so many different, yet similar stories… of our search for Love, disappointments, insights. I wanted to share them! Considering cultural differences some adjustments had to be made. Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it!

  1. I agree. I’ve had some people who were happy I told them my thoughts about them, and some others who lashed out at me bitterly. It was all worth it because I knew then whom I could trust and I couldn’t.
