This describes nowadays women so well…. especially single women.
We all know that if they get to a point in their life in which they’ve done it on their own, it’s because they don’t really need a man to do it.
I admit I’d love to have a man around my household… it would be so cool having someone to hang the pictures on the wall, to put together Ikea furniture, to fix my technology issues… but guess what?!
One way or another, I put everything I needed on the wall and got someone to put together whichever furniture I wasn’t able to.
Only my tech issues remain unresolved (haven’t figured that one out yet, it’s just an inate inability 🤦🏻♀️)
It’s proven we don’t need them… however… I think I speak for most of us… we can’t live without them.
We want the caring.
We want that voice.
We want that hug.
We want that look that sees trough you and anticipates your moves and your words.
We want and crave for the connection.
We want to feel desired.
We want to feel like a Woman.
We need nothing and yet we want it all.
But while we don’t get what we want, we keep on doing our thing.
Life is still Life!
