One year ago I had one of the most unpredictable nights of my life.
I will never forget it.
The memories that once made me trust the future were the ones that melt it away.
But at the time I didn’t know.
It was that same unknown and the beauty of the unexpected moment that made it so significant and so deeply imprinted in my brain, my body and my soul.
Suddenly all I wanted was about to happen.
And it did.
Quick and strong as lightning.
As intense as an explosion of feelings, discovery and love. And as quickly and strongly it arrived, it vanished into thin air…But that would be another story.
This night was the beginning of something bound not to last. But while it lasted, I was happy. I was very happy.
And I say Thank You for that.
I lived love again and remembered what it felt like.
So all these memories have been with me always.
They never faded, never stopped hurting.
They just became lighter to carry.
I carry them proudly as they are part of me.
A good happy part of me.
And for that, they’ll always be precious.
