Everybody is the Guru

The thing is not everyone knows, or is willing, to listen.

Whenever we listen to understand rather than to reply, we learn.

We learn other people’s point of view, opinions, feelings and we remind ourselves the world doesn’t evolve around us.

It keeps us humble while processing other people’s pain, happiness, frustration, empathy.

We learn we aren’t the only ones dealing with something.

We aren’t the only ones with dreams, doubts and big questions.

And we hope to learn a bit from everyone. Just to be sure no one is sliding by Life as a mere succession of events.

Listen.

Learn.

Let it impact you in a good way, in a bad way.

But don’t stay indifferent.
