Alone vs Lonely

Wise words by a beautiful soul.

How often do you feel alone in the middle of a crowd?

Or even in a relationship in which even though you have a partner, you still feel alone?

It’s like you’re invisible to everyone around you.

It hurts the most when it’s people whom you love dearly.

It becomes even more evident if you spend a weekend entirely on your own and don’t feel alone, especially if you’re doing something you love.

Being alone is definitely not the same as feeling alone. Loneliness is out there.

It might affect anyone.

It’s not about being single or married, having plenty of friends or socializing a lot.

It’s about the human connections and bonds you actually have (or not) with a few people.

The anchor people in your Life.

Your guiding lighthouses.

Loneliness can drive you crazy.

It can make you feel meaningless and useless and that’s a dangerous thing.

As you feel you’re loosing your grip, you need to find something to keep you connected… to yourself, to others.

A purpose.

Something that lights up a feeling in you.

And maybe, just maybe, that loneliness will faint a bit.

The idea behind this page is to share my opinion and experience in what seems to be a crazy world nowadays. I look at myself, my friends and acquaintances and hear so many different, yet similar stories… of our search for Love, disappointments, insights. I wanted to share them! Considering cultural differences some adjustments had to be made. Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it!
