Beauty and the Beast

Watching the news and finding out about Notre Dame fire… mixed feelings!

It’s such an iconic masterpiece worthy of admiration and gaze! It’s a beauty and we all know it. It’s a piece of lost culture…

Fundraising is already in place to rebuild it.

Which makes me think of a side reality.

France is home to one of the biggest refugee camps out there. Official numbers point 3000 displaced people, field information towards 7000…

What used to be an improvised but stable “facility” was destroyed by authorities in an attempt for them to go. Obviously it didn’t work.

It still doesn’t work (they still smash tents, clothes and few existing shoes).

It’s an ugly truth but it’s real. It’s a beast.

With utmost respect for the beautiful monument and centuries of History it carries even as a European symbol…

As sad as I feel, I feel more saddened and lost when it comes to human lives and the circumstances in which they’re living.

Should every French donate a day’s salary, every wealthy family and corporate donate just a few millions to make it better to whom has nothing?

To return a bit of dignity and respect to Human Life?

The idea behind this page is to share my opinion and experience in what seems to be a crazy world nowadays. I look at myself, my friends and acquaintances and hear so many different, yet similar stories… of our search for Love, disappointments, insights. I wanted to share them! Considering cultural differences some adjustments had to be made. Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it!
