Breaking the Pattern

How much do we give and what do we expose ourselves to in exchange of a tiny bit of attention?

We put ourselves out there in different ways expecting something and in the end we receive bread crumbs…

If we know we’re getting bread crumbs, why do we continue chasing it?

Why is it so easy for us to give, knowing we will not receive back?

And why is it so hard for us to break that pattern?

Why is it so hard to stop looking for attention when we know attention is something you can’t look for.

It should come freely and spontaneously.

The problem is that we all crave for it, even if it’s not there (especially when it’s not there).

And when we crave too much, that’s when we give it all to the wrong people, in the wrong way.

Ask yourself: how much will I be affected?

It’s a cost/benefit question… Is it worth it?

Will it be worth it in the end, when it’s time for the aftermath?

What can you change to preserve yourself?

What’s the first baby step you can take?

The idea behind this page is to share my opinion and experience in what seems to be a crazy world nowadays. I look at myself, my friends and acquaintances and hear so many different, yet similar stories… of our search for Love, disappointments, insights. I wanted to share them! Considering cultural differences some adjustments had to be made. Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it!
