You can’t really tell exactly what’s different yet but you can feel it.

It may be that you’re wandering, and finally someone finds you and grabs your hand as if they knew you need to be guided, almost like a child.

The “different” thing may be that he mentally holds your hand and navigates you through the multiple roads until you find your way through your insecurities and distrust.

You can almost hear him whisper “I got you”.

And for someone who’s always in control, having someone to guide you is extremely appealing.

It’s the Pause button on “walls up” until you figure out if it’s a Stop or a Play again on building those walls.

Only time will tell.

You prepare for the worst but hope for the best.

The mindset isn’t easy.

You keep trying to hold something back to keep some form of “walls up”.

You know you can’t pour your endless amount of love just like that.

That endless amount of love and caring are to be earned, and not a given.

That’s your biggest gift.

If he doesn’t realize that, then that “different” was probably just a mirage.

But be willing to give until you’ve been given a reason not to.

Especially when you’re a giver, you can’t really do it any other way.

I look at myself, my friends and acquaintances and hear so many different, yet similar stories… of our search for Love, disappointments, insights. I wanted to share them! Considering cultural differences some adjustments had to be made. Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it!
